It's deal for farms, nurseries, car washes, and other spray applications. Optimal use for the 120-5 Nozzle is a downward spray within a 5' or less distance from the target surface. It's made of stainless steel and has a 1/4" MNPT inlet.

  • 1/4" male NPT inlet
  • 1.7-2.2 GPM capacity range
  • Mounting height and angle: 7 deg @ 2', 15 deg @ 4'

Flow Rates

  • 1.7 GPM @ 30 PSI
  • 2.0 GPM @ 40 PSI
  • 2.2 GPM @ 50 PSI

Nozzle Installation and Operation for Agricultural Applications

  • When installing a single nozzle, the supply line from the pump should be one pipe size larger than the nozzle thread size. Example: nozzle has a 1/2" thread, the supply line should be 3/4".
  • When installing dual nozzles, the supply line should be two sizes larger than the nozzle pipe thread.
  • For dual nozzle installation, nozzles should be mounted close enough together to insure proper overlap.
  • In multiple pass spraying, the end of the pattern should overlap approximately 18".
  • BoomBuster nozzles are tested at 48" height above ground level, but they can be mounted higher or lower than 48". Doing so may require adjusting the angle of the nozzle to achieve the correct distance (in feet) as specified in the nozzle selection guide.
  • Mounting nozzles on street elbows allows for quick and easy nozzle adjustment.
  • While small mesh nozzle strainers are not necessary, a coarse mesh inline strainer may be necessary if tank or water supply becomes contaminated with large particles.
  • Minimize drift by spraying just above the crop or ground to be sprayed. As with any mehod of spraying, high or gusty wind can cause some pattern shifting. Always use good judgement when spraying; do not spray in high winds.
  • Always wear protective clothing and handle all chemicals with care.
