Product Description

Hybrid Ceramic Trim Shine Spray Bottle

Stoner Brand 92333 Hybrid Ceramic Trim Shine features the cutting-edge SiO2 formulation for increased protection and durability on vinyl, plastic, and rubber - up to 4 times the durability of Original Trim Shine! This spray coat is expected to last 3 to 6 months, but longevity can depend on a variety of factors. Vehicles exposed to weather and elements shorten the life of the protective layer, while garage kept or covered cars may keep the finish longer. The other main factors are wash frequency and type. Over washing and harsh or acidic detergents, abrasive brushes, and high-pressure jets can damage or degrade a ceramic coating. To maintain your ceramic layer, use pH-neutral soaps, a soft microfiber wash mitt, and a two-bucket wash method or gentle, touchless car washes.

The unique benefits of hybrid ceramic technology for car trim include superior protection against UV rays, environmental contaminants, and chemicals, while also providing a durable, long-lasting high-gloss finish. This technology creates a hydrophobic surface that repels water, dirt, and grime, making the trim easier to clean and maintain for extended periods. Trim Shine may also be used on tires, and is effective at restoring and protecting tire walls, providing a dark, rich, OEM-like finish and durable UV protection. While Trim Shine creates excellent results in this application, another product, Stoner More Shine Tire Finish, is actually made specifically for tire rubber, may provide an even better or more specific result. More Shine is solvent-based, which dries a little faster than Trim Shine, and offers a more conventional tire shine result in a no-wipe formula that must be reapplied more frequently than ceramic.

Durable Conditioning Power

Hybrid Ceramic Trim Shine Conditions, protects, and replenishes worn or weathered vinyl, plastic, and rubber including unpainted plastic trim like bumpers and cowls, painted plastic trim, hard plastic trim, rubber trim, and some interior plastic and vinyl trims and even tires. The advanced formula significantly increases longevity against fading and cracking by providing a protective barrier against UV rays and environmental damage like salt, rain, and bird droppings. This barrier reflects and prevents UV rays from degrading the plastic and reduces the risk of cracking from temperature changes, while its hardness guards against contaminants that cause long-term damage Ideal for auto interior - not for use on glass, clear plastics, or fabrics. Excellent retail offering to help your customers keep car interiors looking beautiful for months after cleaning! The product is conveniently packaged in cases of six, supporting efficient inventory management for high-traffic car wash locations or retail sales. With its straightforward application, operators can quickly restore vehicle trim to a like-new finish while offering customers long-lasting results.

Does Hybrid Ceramic shine better than traditional wax coatings?

Ceramic coating provides a more durable, long-lasting, and high-gloss finish, often described as "glass-like" as compared to traditional wax which gives a warmer, deeper glow, but requires more frequent reapplication. Which is "better" depends on preference. Choose ceramic coating for a crisp, bright, and durable radiance, or wax for a classic, deep warmth with a more hands-on approach to application. Stoner Trim Shine is generally favored because it's an easy-to-use product that restores and offers good protection. It is praised for its ability to quickly and effectively restore a like-new appearance to various surfaces like bumpers, dashboards, and engine bay components without requiring extensive elbow grease.

To shine plastic trim, first clean the surface thoroughly with an all-purpose cleaner and a brush, then dry it completely. Next, apply a dedicated plastic trim restorer or tire and trim shine product using a microfiber applicator, working it into the trim. Finally, use a clean microfiber towel to wipe off any excess product, leaving a restored, shiny finish. Read below for more specific application instructions.

Application Instructions:

  1. Prepare the surface. Thoroughly wash and dry the car, paying close attention to the trim. Ensure the area is cool and dry before you begin. Work in a well-ventilated area, preferably in a garage or out of direct sunlight.
  2. Apply the product. Spray a moderate amount of the product directly onto a microfiber or foam applicator pad. Wipe the product onto the trim in small, manageable sections.Apply in a cross-hatch pattern to ensure full and even coverage.
  3. Finish and cure. Immediately after applying the product to a section, use a clean microfiber towel to wipe away any high spots or streaks within the first 10 minutes. Allow the trim to fully cure, which typically takes about 24 hours for maximum durability.

Troubleshooting Tips:

  • If you notice any drips or unevenness after the 10-minute window but before 4 hours, reactivate the area with more product and wipe away any excess.
  • For older or more porous trim, you may need to apply a second coat after the first one has cured to achieve full restoration.
  • Avoid getting the product on painted surfaces; if over spray occurs, wipe it off immediately.
