The AMI H-F20BB01CF melt-blown polypropylene filter is made of FDA listed materials, so it's safe for many applications including drinking water filtration. The filter's graded pore structure retains sediment well, making it suitable for use as a pre-filter in a reverse osmosis system. The H-F20BB01CF is free of surfactants, binders, anti-static agents, and adhesives.
