Why Choose Telco Sensors?
Telco’s photoelectric sensors offer powerful, high excess gain and deliver the highest performance. The beam from Telco’s sensors penetrates contamination, including steam, soap, ice, fog, dirt, and spray, unlike those from other brands. These sensors have a light immunity of up to 100,000 lux, ensuring that even direct sunlight will not decrease detection accuracy. The wide optical design and characteristics of Telco’s sensors make them easy to align, even at long opposed distances. Telco sensors are built to IP67K standards, meaning they can withstand high-pressure washdowns and constant exposure to wet conditions, making them great for car washes. They also won't fog up. Shock caused by impacts is not a problem for these sensors as they are rated to tolerate up to 30 g’s of shock, which helps to improve their longevity.
Difficult to Obstruct:
The infrared beam of Telco sensors penetrates through all types of contamination encountered in harsh environments, including dirt, soap scum, and more to deliver reliable service.
Extreme Water Resistance:
Telco Sensors are exceptionally resistant to high-pressure washdowns and the conditions in wet environments, including car washes.
Note: Amplifiers can NOT be exposed to water.
Immune to Blinding:
Even in direct sunlight, it is difficult to blind a Telco sensor; they deliver reliable detection where other sensors fail.
Endure Extreme Abuse:
Telco sensors maintain reliable performance and longevity even in environments where they encounter heavy vibration and shock from impacts.
Installation is Easy:
Engineered with ease of installation in mind, Telco sensors offer straightforward setup without complicated procedures.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I splice cables in my car wash when replacing a sensor?
Telco strongly advises against splicing wires in your car wash. This is because they construct their cables with jacketing that is engineered to meet specific IP standards to keep out water and prevent the damage it causes.
The sun is Blinding My Sensor. Is There a Quick Fix?
You can try shielding the sensor, adjusting its angle (if possible), or flipping the transmitter and receiver so that the one that was in the sun is now out of it.
